Welcome to Jake's Artisan Foods, producer of the original Hand-cut Pork Pie from Hampshire.
All our pies are made entirely by hand on the outskirts of Petersfield, in East Hampshire, within the South Downs National Park.
We use only free-range pork raised across the border in West Sussex, also within the SDNP. The Duroc breed pigs are free to roam in loads of space all their lives,
Food miles are kept to a minimum, with our butchers based in Fareham. Closer still is our egg-wash production facility, ie our lovely rescue hens in the back garden.
We only use plastic bags for the delivery of meat, and re-use each at least once. Everything else is either compostable or recyclable.
For non-meat eaters, we've recently begun selling completely plant-based versions based on a truly fabulous vegetarian hot-water pastry that's every bit as good as the original.
